About sleep

Why good sleep gets harder after 50

Insomnia can look like lying awake for hours, or waking at 3am and never dropping off again. For many women, sleep shifts around menopause and quietly gets worse over the years. Hypnotherapy for sleep works with the part of your mind that holds those night-time patterns. It doesn’t have to stay this way.

The natural approach

How sleep hypnotherapy helps you rest

It works with your mind, not against it.

Fall asleep faster

We calm the racing thoughts at their root, not just the surface.

Sleep through the night

A settled mind is far less likely to wake at 3am.

Wake up rested

Your own sleep audio keeps the calm going, night after night.

What to expect

Your sessions, step by step

Nothing strange, nothing to brace for.

Step 01

We talk it through

A relaxed chat about what’s going on and what you want.

Step 02

You relax, we rewire

Guided relaxation, then gentle suggestions tailored to you.

Step 03

You practise at home

A personal audio recording keeps the change going between sessions.

The other side

What life feels like after the session

  • Bedtime stops being the part of the day you dread.
  • You get through the afternoon without hitting a wall.
  • You have the patience for people again, not just the fumes.
  • Coffee’s a pleasure now, not the thing keeping you upright.

In their own words

Trusted by women across Australia and New Zealand who were ready for a change

Best thing I ever did was contact Valeria to help me stop smoking. When she told me that I would break my smoking habit after 25 years of being a smoker in one session I laughed, but it worked. I have now been smoke free for 6 months and can smell again.

I was so depressed after my divorce I lost all confidence and hid from the world. I met with Valeria and a few days later she sent me a tailored hypnotic recording which I listened to for 30 days straight before bedtime. It really helped transform me from day 1. I am now ready to start dating again.

I’ve always been a bad sleeper but then I got a little addicted to social media reels, tiktok and youtube, wasting hours each day. I found Valeria online and did her digital detox program and feel great and living life again as it should be lived, away from the screen.

Valeria transformed my body through my mind. She put me on a 30 day weight loss programme. It’s only been a month and I’ve lost 5 kilos but the main thing is that I no longer automatically go to the fridge when I am bored and I choose good whole foods now. Thanks Valeria.

Good to know

Common questions

The things most women want to know first.

Will I stay in control during hypnotherapy?

Yes, always. You stay fully aware the whole time. You can’t be made to do anything against your will, and you can reject any suggestion that doesn’t feel right. Most women say it feels like a deep, pleasant rest.

How many sessions will I need to sleep better?

Most women notice a shift within the first few sessions. A typical course is 3 to 6 sessions, spaced to suit you. We’ll talk it through at the start so you know what to expect, with no pressure to commit beyond what helps.

Is sleep hypnotherapy safe if I take sleep medication?

Hypnotherapy is natural, drug-free, and sits gently alongside most treatments. It’s a complement, not a replacement, so keep taking anything your doctor has prescribed. Always check with your GP before changing any medication.

Can it help if my sleep changed around menopause?

Often, yes. Plenty of women find sleep gets lighter and more broken in their 50s. We can’t change your hormones, but we can calm the racing mind and the 3am waking that make it worse, so the nights feel kinder.
